An enjoyable day at the Schwaigerhof

Hearty breakfast buffet (from 07.30 to 10.00)
If the scent of fresh, crispy baking is in the air, then you know: it's breakfast time again. From hearty egg dishes freshly prepared on the show kitchen, fresh farm milk, a large selection of cereals and speciality jams to sweet pastries, fine cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurts, a lactose-free corner and fruits, you can find what your heart desires.  Fine teas and invigorating coffee, and Styrian fruit juices and freshly squeezed juices round off the start to the day.

Snack buffet (from 13.30 to 16.00 in the summer)
Snack buffet in the afternoon with daily changing theme days, salads, soup and sweets from our own patisserie.

Soup time at the Schwaigerhof (from 12.00 to 13.30 in the winter) 
Direct from the ski slopes to the soup pot - for a refreshment in the meantime, there is a lunchtime creamy soup and a clear soup made from locally-sourced beef with a selection of traditional ingredients.

Snack buffet (from 14.30 to 16.30 in the winter) 
Snack buffet in the afternoon with daily changing theme days, salads, soup and sweets from our own patisserie.

Refreshment in the Schwaigerhof spa 
All-day selection at the spa tea bar and invigorating water with dried fruit to nibble in our wellness world.

Evening delights (from 18.00 to 20.00) 
You can hardly wait: the legendary Schwaigerhof evening menus. Upon entering the restaurant, our chefs allow you to look over their shoulders as they prepare various dishes. You can expect seasonal spreads at the beautifully set table. A generous selection of fresh salads, raw vegetables and various foods and oils provide a good introduction to the multi-course menu. You will be spoiled for choice on a daily basis between meat dishes, fish dishes and vegetarian dishes. Cheese is a well-known liner of the stomach. We therefore offer you a wide range of different types of cheese and mustard sauces. 

For our little ones there's a colourful children's buffet or special children's menus. 

Intolerances are not an obstacle for perfect enjoyment 
Our kitchen staff will try to offer meals appropriate to your individual wishes and needs. In order that we may respond to your specific intolerances (lactose and gluten) and allergies, please inform us before arrival.

A treat every single week
  • Beginning with the Schladminger delicacies buffet where we would like to entice you with various appetisers and seafood as well as roasts and steak fresh from the grill.
  • We go Styrian: on Fridays we offer a modern twist to the traditional Styrian menu with Styrian atmosphere at the table.
  • Gala evening in an elegant setting and atmosphere with highlights from our kitchen.
  • The scent of "Kaiserschmarren" pancakes and crêpes is in the air. Refined desserts, ice cream and petits fours await you at fine buffets in our show kitchen.

We are constantly on the lookout for new products to surprise you. Ranging from Styrian fruit juices, regional beers, spirits and distillates from local distilleries, new cocktail creations and refreshments to new discoveries and authentic wines from Austria and the rest of the world - we always have our fingers on the pulse.

Origin and regionalism are important to us

So we source game from our own hunting grounds, organic garden herbs from Annemarie's garden, fresh milk from farms, and even the chanterelles are personally collected by Leo, our head chef.

The soothing crackling of the fireplace in the background, with unobstructed views of the mountains, a hive of activity on the sun terrace and an attractive selection of drinks - that's a holiday feeling. Whether it's in the lounge with the fireplace, socialising in the panoramic lounge or cosying up with tobacco afficionados in the smoking lounge, everyone can find their own favourite spot.

"A classic with which you can toast a relaxing week of vacation or day of skiing - that we've been missing. I was searching for an innovative winery that could produce sparkling wine. In the process, I met, by sheer chance, Stefan Krispel, a young winemaker from South-Eastern Styria, who understands like no other how to reflect the terror of his region in his wines. Our own house sparkling wine, Home Sparkling Edition, was born - fruity, refreshing, mineral."

With the babbling brook and grazing cows, the original "Schwoaga-Alm" mountain hut is situated amid unspoiled nature. During the summer months, chef Annemarie welcomes you once a week to lunch at the mountain hut. The tables are set with doughnuts fresh from the wood stove, breads with garden chives and Styrian cheese as well as seasonal fruits. To an unforgettable mountain hut experience!

In the summer, our guests love the weekly mountain hut lunch at the "Schwoaga-Alm". It serves homemade delicacies. The doughnuts are baked fresh on the spot on the wood stove by chef Annemarie Stocker!
