Lying at the very heart of the cycling region, the Schwaigerhof hotel is ideally located and makes the perfect starting point for a bike tour with the whole family. Our region has it all – relaxed family trips to the idyllic Obertal valley, the Enns Cycle Trail, more challenging routes for young people and adults and action-packed rides in the nearby bike parks.

Cyclists are more than welcome at the Schwaigerhof. You are free to use one of our bikes or you can bring your own with you, in which case we’ll store it safely in our bike room, which is monitored by CCTV. We also offer charging stations for e-bikes. If you want to save the hassle of transporting your bikes and simply leave them at home, we provide mountain bikes for the whole family free of charge. Alternatively, you can pay to hire an e-bike.

The Schladming and Reiteralm bike parks aren’t just a cycling paradise for downhill fans, they also feature several trails designed especially for families with children. No matter whether you’re a novice or an experienced cyclist, you’ll find the right trail to challenge you amongst the many on offer, such as the Flowline, Uphill Flow Trail and Jumpline. You can also take part in a training session to hone your cycling technique and give children their first fun insights into downhill cycling.
