Our spacious hotel grounds, surrounded by lush greenery, not only offer you plenty of open space, but are also the perfect starting point for some lovely walks. From our location 1,050 metres above sea level you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Dachstein mountains. A peaceful retreat, surrounded by nature and fresh mountain air awaits you here – with sunshine included.

Ski-in ski-out with no compromises is what the Schwaigerhof promises. The ski piste is right in front of the hotel, giving you access to the slopes of the Schladming-Dachstein Four Mountains ski area. A ski school and ski hire are both close by – right on the hotel's doorstep and two minutes’ drive away respectively. A special feature: The PSO ski school also teaches people with disabilities. And anyone looking to experience Schladming and Styria away from the pistes and powder snow will doubtless relish the delights of a winter hike.

The Schwaigerhof is the ideal starting point for hikes or mountain bike tours, as lots of routes run right past the hotel. In fact, many of our region’s highlights are close by, just waiting to be discovered. For even greater convenience when exploring, it’s best to use the well-developed hikers’ bus network, which will take you to various starting points and sights in the surrounding area.

Visit Salzburg, and immerse yourself in the cultural diversity of this fascinating city. Or take a trip to the world-famous Hallstatt – a picturesque UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its fascinating history. A tour of the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is a must for motorsport fans. And don't forget to explore the fascinating Dachstein giant ice cave, with its spectacular ice sculptures.
