Holidaying with your dog in Schladming

There’s lots to do when holidaying with your dog in Styria. Explore the picturesque landscape around the Schwaigerhof on one of the many walks. Or would you prefer to go higher? Then take a cable car to ascend one of the surrounding peaks (though please note that dogs must be muzzled when doing so). Also be aware that, to ensure the safety and comfort of people and animals, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times throughout the region.

We want to make sure that our four-legged guests have a great stay just like you. So we have particular areas where dogs are welcome, like the car-free courtyard and the convivial terrace. Guests are able to enjoy a relaxed time together with their dogs in those areas. If you don't want to leave your dog unattended in your room, there’s a special zone set aside so that your faithful companion can be with you when dining. Please note, however, that to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in and around the hotel.

As a dog owner, you bear full responsibility for your pet – so always be sure to keep your dog under control. In the event of damage caused by your dog, you or your insurer will be held jointly and severally liable to the Schwaigerhof. This includes, in particular, any compensation payments that the Schwaigerhof must make to third parties. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out appropriate pet insurance or personal liability insurance to cover any damage caused by your dog.
