If you’re at all interested in climbing, you simply have to visit Schladming. Boasting a total of 30 climbing routes and tours, the Dachstein mountains have something to challenge any climber. The routes cover altitudes of 1,000 to 3,000 metres so they don’t just put your fitness and skills to the test, they also offer breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Younger guests can also experience the joy of climbing for the first time on no less than three climbing routes designed for young people and two designed specifically for kids. The Sattelberg is a popular children’s climbing destination located just a 15-minute drive away in Ramsau am Dachstein. It offers climbing routes designed especially for children and beginners and provides lots of fun activities as they discover the world of climbing.

If you want a safe way to indulge your passion for climbing whatever the weather, look no further than our bouldering wall. Covering some 50 square metres and extending to a height of 3.25 metres, it provides a varied range of routes for all climbers. Beginners can get their first taste of climbing, and more active and seasoned climbers can train or warm up for a climb on the Dachstein.
