Whether it’s our playroom or the ball-sports hall, there’s something new to discover around every corner. Just watch your children’s eyes light up with excitement! Parents will be happy too – although we don’t offer a childcare service, all guests can enjoy a great, relaxing stay with us, no matter their age. How do we do it? By carefully designing the Schwaigerhof to ensure our guests never have far to walk and can keep their children in sight at all times. After all, isn’t the best thing about a holiday being able to spend time together as a family? It’s been the Schwaigerhof’s mission for many years and is the secret to our enduring success.

When it’s wet or dark outside, there’s no better place than our large 17 x 7.5-metre ball-sports hall for children to let off some steam and enjoy themselves. All the parents need to do is decide whether to let the kids play by themselves or join in. Whether it’s football, basketball or volleyball, it’s the perfect place to show off your skills!

Playrooms

Whether it’s balancing, swinging, climbing, exploring your sense of touch, running or simply romping around – our playrooms have something for all ages. They’ve been designed specifically to help foster coordination and motor skills as the children play. Our play equipment is made of natural materials such as wood and textiles. For the younger kids there are play towers with swings, a balancing course, fun house and play kitchen, whilst older children can get away from their parents with a spot of gaming or put their skills to the test on the Twall reaction wall.

Make the most of the great outdoors

There’s nothing quite like the great outdoors – and when you offer as many activities as we do at the Schwaigerhof, you won’t need to ask your children twice. The only cars allowed in our courtyard are our go-karts for kids – you’re sure to see some of them whizzing about! We also have rabbits that the children can pet, a well-equipped climbing frame and a sand pit where the kids can build, dig and play to their heart’s content.

Bouldering wall

We’ve got something that is sure to hold the attention of any climbing fan – a set of challenging climbing holds, to be precise. Our impressive bouldering wall boasts a climbing area of around 50 square metres and 300 holds spread over 15 different routes. Offering difficulty levels from 3+ to 8+ and extending to a height of 3.25 metres, there’s something for all climbers, no matter how experienced you are. Do you have what it takes to hold on and reach the top?
