Summer holidays with the family

When the weather is fine, kids will delight in our outdoor activities – they can take a go-kart for a spin around our car-free courtyard, explore our playground or pet one of our rabbits. Our outdoor pool and natural bathing pond are perfect for cooling down on a hot summer’s day. And if the weather doesn’t play along, we have a huge indoor play area with ball-sports hall and bouldering wall to keep you entertained. There’s always something fun to do at the Schwaigerhof!

Countless excursion destinations are located just a few minutes from the Schwaigerhof. The Hopsiland on the Planai provides a whole world of fun for children, whereas the Hochwurzen is the place to be for action-packed mountain go-kart adventures. The Rittisberg is a holiday paradise simply bursting with leisure activities, whilst the Hauser Kaibling offers a range of activities right in the heart of the mountains as well as stunning, panoramic views.

Schladming offers so many different sports activities that even the most ardent homebodies are sure to find themselves lacing up their boots and getting stuck in. From hikes to mountain bike tours, there’s something for everyone. Top of the list is the “Wild Waters” themed trail with its impressive suspension bridge. Or why not explore one of the many bike tours? There’s a wide selection with different levels of difficulty to suit the whole family, including younger kids. Simply follow the markings to discover stunning waterfalls and cool mountain lakes.

The Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard pass provides access to a wide selection of leisure activities from the end of May to the start of November. Cable cars, buses, toll roads and bathing lakes are all included free of charge. The best thing about it is that you can get a Sommercard pass even if you stay just one night.
